Snap connector is intermittent (defective). Any rattling of the upper snap causes the resistance to go to INFINITY (broken connection, not a solder joint). Buyers are cautioned to test with an ohmmeter on arrival. Better yet, buy a brand that is quality tested at the factory. Amazon sent replacement; 2nd unit has same defect. I will not endanger my business's computer equipment by using this product.
*** UPDATE: When I returned the unit for a refund, Amazon improperly removed the words "Verified Purchase" from my review, causing my review to be hidden from most buyers. As an economic sanction, I will be buying more items from Amazon's competitors.
